HC with exceptional engraving detail, rear with a majestic rose gold stag set against a stippled darker background and surrounded at perimeter by multicolor foliage and scrolls, front with an initialed rose gold shield set against a darker stippled background and surrounded at perimeter by multicolor foliage and scrolls, scalloped band, gold cuvette with 1915 presentation engraving, white enamel SS dial, SW-SS, nickel damascene, s#13024939. Comes as pictured with a Waltham marked box that appears to have been designed for a 16S watch. Gross weight of assembled watch 53.9 dwt (83.8 g). A truly spectacular multicolor gold hunting case; its darker stippled backgrounds create a striking visual contrast to the multicolor details and its overall condition is extraordinary with all engraving detail in essentially as-new condition.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, virtually mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces with few negligible micro-fine scratches; dial with hl at 7, faint hl above seconds-register; excellent hands; case shows no wear, no dents or dings, pristine crisp engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal. Box in fine overall condition, some scrapes and scuffs to exterior.
